Quick troubleshooting for RV Plumbing

If the pump cycles on/off:

  • Check for a small leak at a fitting or toilet valve

  • Verify the pump strainer isn’t cracked

  • Check city-water check valve backflow

If you have low pressure:

  • Confirm you’re using a pressure regulator (and it isn’t restricting too much)

  • Check for a kinked hose or clogged filter

  • If on pump, check the pump strainer and air leaks on suction side
